Debegesa’s Department of Innovation and Companies seeks to encourage an innovation culture in companies in the Lower Deba region and by extension, amongst the other local socioeconomic agents. The fundamental aim of this initiative is to position Lower Deba as a leading region with regard to evolving towards an economy based on knowledge transfer, which is more competitive and proactive, capable of growing in a more sustainable fashion, these benefits being accessible to all.

Amongst the actions scheduled in this Action Plan, an EXTRANET has been set up on which interested companies can find information which may help them to promote innovation in their organisations (grants and subsidies, emerging markets, types of innovation...).
